Responsible for overseeing and coordinating an organization's social media activities and PR efforts. Combining two crucial aspects of communication and branding, leveraging social media platforms and PR strategies to promote a positive brand image, manage reputation, and engage with the target audience.
The event ran successfully for 6 weeks and had over 90,000 attendees. In order to sustain and grow social media audiences of over 20,000 followers for HideSeek Chicago.
Role and Contributions
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and messaging
Create and curate engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Actively engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, mentions, and fostering meaningful conversations.
Facilitate influencer partnerships.
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the organization's reputation, manage crises, and promote positive stories.
Create and distribute press releases and media advisories to announce significant events, achievements, or news related to the organization.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding in all PR materials and communication to reinforce the organization's values and identity.
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to align social media and PR efforts with broader organizational objectives.
